The data used for the TIMS Reports is extracted from Sabre® using
Seamless Availability direct from Hotel CRSs, where available. The Sabre®
database is used for any non-seamless (Type A) Hotel Companies. All
data is less than eight (8) hours old upon delivery. All the numbers
used for the TIMS Report analysis and graphs can be found on the Data
spreadsheet tab which can also be printed. A detailed explanation of
the TIMS Reports can be found on a separate spreadsheet tab called Explanation
as a part of each TIMS Report. Footnotes and electronic comments are
used throughout the Report to explain in more detail the symbols used
in each section of the TIMS Report.
Control Processes
To ensure integrity in all TIMS Reports, we have developed strict control
procedures including a process of verifying all the rates available
at each hotel and that each different rate shown is allocated to the
correct TIMS category (e.g., Corporate, Rack, Weekend, Senior, AAA,
Government). This process enables our customers to trust our information
because each report is held up to our strict standards. We also guarantee
a complete Report since we do manual in-house look-ups whenever the
data retrieval process reveals that the links to the CRS were unavailable
for certain dates. This ensures that our subscribers are provided with
the most accurate data to make the best revenue management decisions
possible.
Support Services
Our staff is trained in-house on our unique product and services. We
have serviced the hospitality industry for over 10 years. We have over
40 years of past experience in travel distribution. We make it a priority
to help our subscribers secure the best possible positioning within
their distribution channels. Most questions can be answered on the spot
by a member of our team with just one phone call however, senior managers
are always on-hand to handle your concerns immediately. We often provide
mediation and research support when a subscriber finds problems with
their distribution. We are in contact with most Hotel Companies GDS
Help Desk teams and can help to cut down on the time it takes to get
things resolved.
Custom Options
TIMS offers many choices when it comes to customizing the TIMS Reports
subscriptions in order to meet the exact needs of clients at no additional
cost. We offer choice of delivery days, choice of reporting period start
dates, choice of competitive sets, choice of report length, choice of
frequencies or combinations there of and even a choice of how many nights
each date is queried. You can also choose an unlimited number of people
that would receive simultaneous delivery of each of your TIMS Reports.
We pride ourselves in being able to meet the most specific needs of
our subscribers. We have an experienced and friendly team that would
be happy to customize your subscription at any time or to discuss how
best we can meet your hotel's needs. (Competitive sets can be altered
at any time with no additional charges except when increasing the total
number of competitors).
Subscription Prices
Prices for the TIMS Reports are listed at the bottom of the Subscription
Order Form and vary depending on the frequency of the reports, the length
of the reporting periods and the number of competitors in the competitive
set. The frequency of reports for an order of 13 reports per year is
one report every 4 weeks, 26 reports per year is one report every two
weeks and 52 reports per year is one report every week. The length of
the reporting periods start at 28-days (4 weeks) and increase in 28-day
increments, to 56-day (8 weeks) and 84-day (12 weeks) periods (longer
reporting periods up to 11 months in the future can be arranged). The
starting base price of the TIMS Report includes one (1) host hotel (usually
the subscriber's hotel) and five (5) competitor hotels (unless otherwise
stated). Prices for additional competitive hotels are listed along side
the various base report prices and also vary by frequency and length
of reporting period.
Contract Terms
The prices listed on the Subscription Order Form are per report and
are based on an annual contract (unless otherwise stated). If you have
